"We have nothing to do, but that happiest of all things, the pleasure of God."
- Amy Carmichael
I’m a twenty-something homeschool and college
graduate, writer, lover of music, lifelong bibliophile, and pursuer of justice.
I love the old authors. Women of the faith like Elisabeth
Elliot, Amy Carmichael, Lilias Trotter, and Hannah Whitall Smith. Women who
were wholly abandoned to the Lord and His will in their lives.
Psalm 103:21 says that those who have trusted Christ for
their salvation are left on earth for a purpose: to be “ministers of His, that
do His pleasure.” It is the desire of my heart to surrender myself daily to
that calling. It is exceedingly humbling to realize the Lord wants to use a
finite, sinful creature like me. Each day I learn more about what it means
to abandon myself as an empty vessel to be filled up and poured out for His
purposes.
"She packed up her potential, and all she had learned,
grabbed a cute pair of shoes, and headed out to change a few things."

I am so grateful that my best friends are my parents
and three younger siblings. We also have two adorable dogs: Dancy, a Chihuahua, and Francesca, an English Golden Retriever.
I have been a musician ever since I can remember. Piano,
violin, a bit of guitar, and a soprano voice. I had my orchestral debuts on
piano and violin at ages eighteen and nineteen, respectively. I currently
maintain a private studio.
Photography. Graphic design. Deep discussions on theology,
constitutional law, American history, homeschooling, and womanhood. A good cup
of Earl Grey tea. Hunting. Fishing. Running. I enjoy all these when I’m
not writing, reading, or spending time with my family.
I have been blessed with a wide variety of opportunities to explore
new places, meet lots of people who have influenced my life tremendously, and
earn a rich liberal arts education. Join me as I learn more about this amazing
gift of life.
